Track V has a measurement proposal for Ian (the next step after the demo path).
**Status:** the case page now renders the complete Lense envelope on case 2 (lense.answers 0.2.0, 671 bindings: 100 facts, 58 evidence requests, the rest abstentions with reasons).
**The gap:** every answered fact shows "정확도 미측정". No human answer labels exist for any engine question family, so nothing separates a reliable fact from an unreliable one.
**Proposal: a small labeling pass.**
- **Who and what:** Ian or an adjuster answers the ~10 most-asked question families (planner top-5 by Track B's report: sd_same_direction_travel, op_opposing_travel, sd_path_change, op_crossed_centreline, …) on the 20 goldset dev clips that already have stored Lense outputs, using the walkthrough (label source walkthrough_human).
- **Effort:** ≈ 1–2 h.
- **Result:** a dev accuracy per family with n≈20 per binding, wide CIs but real numbers, which Track C can show instead of "미측정".
- **Honest limits:** single annotator and dev only. Held-out needs a second pass on held-out clips.
**Cost:** no GPU. The scorer plumbing exists (binding_keys, P21).
Should I prepare the clip list and the family list for Ian?

02:28 · repliedTrack V (`lense-b5`) has the complete Lense result showing on a real case, and it points to the next real gap: nobody knows which of those answers are right.
**What the case page shows now,** on case 2 with Lense answers 0.2.0 (671 question × vehicle × moment items):
- **100 facts** Lense answered
- **58 evidence requests**
- **everything else:** abstentions with reasons
**The gap:** every one of those 100 answered facts shows "정확도 미측정". No human answers exist for any of the engine's question types, so the screen can't tell a reliable answer from an unreliable one. That matters for "decide with care": right now every answer gets the same warning.
**Track V's proposal:** a small labeling pass by you or an adjuster.
- **What:** answer the ~10 question types the planner asks most (e.g. same direction, opposing travel, path change, crossed the centreline) on the 20 goldset dev clips that already have stored Lense outputs, in the walkthrough.
- **Effort:** about 1–2 hours, no GPU cost.
- **Result:** real dev accuracy per question type (n≈20 each, wide intervals) that the case page can show in place of "미측정".
- **Limits:** one annotator, dev split only. A held-out number needs a second pass on different clips.
**I told Track V to prepare it now, since that costs nothing.** You decide when to spend the time. I asked for:
- one ready-to-use entry point with keyboard flow
- Lense's answers hidden until you've answered
- a real time estimate, based on how many questions the planner actually asks per case
- the most-asked question types on same-direction cases first, so the first 30 minutes give the most useful numbers
**My recommendation:** do it right after the dry run this week. Your dry-run answers in the walkthrough can count toward it too. It turns the confidence marker…

Track B, order note: I'm building Track V's blind answer-labeling queue page first, then the 차20-1/20-2 right_turn_history fix. The page is about half a working session.
Why this order: it's your approved prep, and it's what turns Track C's 정확도 미측정 into a measured number once Ian labels, which matters more for the demo than a rare-scene chart. 차20 follows right after.
Also for Ian's planning: no human time per question has been measured yet. Ian has never run a walkthrough session, so the queue will record answer_ms per item from the first block.

02:38 · repliedTrack B (`lense-73`) swapped its next two tasks, and I agree with the reasoning.
1. **First: the blind labeling queue page** for the pass Track V is preparing, about half a working session. It's what turns "정확도 미측정" into measured numbers once you label, which matters more for the demo than a rarely seen chart.
2. **Then the 차20-1/20-2 fix.**
**For planning your time:** nobody has measured how long a person takes per question. You haven't run a walkthrough session yet, so any estimate would be a guess. The queue records the time you spend on each answer from your first block, so after about 15 minutes there will be a real estimate for the rest.
**Your remaining list, in order:**
1. **Dry run** on the demo site with 3 KB clips (set the deploy freeze and a warm GPU window first).
2. **Labeling pass** in Track B's queue, once it's ready. Your first block also gives the real time per question.
3. **The 88 "who can answer" items** and **the 56 question rewrites that changed meaning.**
4. **Small decisions:**
- delegating `lense.smt.ai.kr`
- host on or off between uses
- the Cosmos3-Nano licence
- adding the auto-deploy and freeze rule to `CLAUDE.md`

Track C → coordinator: noted on engine 0.2.4/0.2.5 latency. What you listed is already in place, so I'm building no case-state cache. Steps are computed once per input and stored in case_engine_steps (a saved correction changes the input). While a step runs the page shows "도표 계산 중… N초" and keeps the previous ranking visible. The timeout is 45 s with a retry.
Done today, all on the host:
- **Deploy line.** /cases and each case's versions line show the running commit and the DEPLOY_FREEZE state (read with the instance role). I'll set the freeze before rehearsals.
- **Lense answers 0.2.0 on case 2 (media 269), fixes from real data:** reasons for abstentions from video, collapsed finding groups (692 items), Track V's place rule for 0.2.0 outputs, and adjuster answers off the known place held. On the host, case 2 now shows 0 engine rejections, 차45-3 first, and a step of 0.4–1.1 s.
- **Open:** every fact shows "정확도 미측정" because no per-question accuracy exists. Track V proposes a ~1–2 h human labeling pass on the 20 stored clips; that needs Ian.

- **Case 2 now runs on the full Lense answers (0.2.0).** Fixes that came from real data:
- clearer reasons for abstentions
- the 692 result items collapsed into groups
- Track V's place rule applied
- an adjuster's place answer isn't overwritten
On the host, case 2 shows **no rejected answers,** ranks **차45-3 first,** and each engine step takes **0.4–1.1 s**.

Track V → coordinator: the labeling-pass plan is ready and in Track V's STATUS section (top block, "Proposal for Ian"), 63cc82e.
- **Queue:** answers-sd-road-dev20, 160 items. 20 goldset dev same-direction road clips (AI Hub 차43-2/41-1/42-2…, round-robin over charts) × 8 VLM-routed bindings in 4 planner-frequency blocks (sd_same_direction_travel + op_opposing_travel; em_centre_or_left_side_travel ×2; sd_passing_sequence ×2; sd_path_change ×2). Generator and 5 tests are in lense/answers/label_queue.py.
- **Clip change from my first plan:** the 20 clips with stored outputs are 18 junction clips (차13/16), not KB-like, so I didn't use them. The new 20 need one Lense run: vlm.questions 0.1.1 + lense.answers 0.2.1, ≈ $2–3 on a g6e via Track D. That run also gives Track C its first 0.2.1 outputs.
- **Entry point:** Track B agreed to build /walkthrough/label/<queue> (about half a session, before their 차20 fix). It's blind (reads no Lense output), uses 1–9/0/? keys, resumes, and stores answer_ms per item.
- **Minutes:** no measured questions-per-case exists (Ian has run no guided session; Track B confirmed). From Ian's measured review pace (14.2 s median n=13, 30.3 s n=14): blocks 1–2 ≈ 19–40 min, all 160 ≈ 37–80 min. It gets re-estimated from the first block's stored ms.

02:40 · repliedTrack V's plan for your labeling pass is ready, and I approved the small run it needs.
**The pass itself** (`answers-sd-road-dev20`):
- **160 items:** 20 same-direction road clips from the goldset dev split (AI Hub 차43-2, 41-1, 42-2 and others, spread across charts) × 8 questions Lense answers with the VLM.
- **4 blocks, most-asked questions first:** same direction and opposing travel, then driving in the centre or left side, then passing order, then lane change.
- **Where you'll do it:** a page Track B is building (`/walkthrough/label/<queue>`).
- Lense's answers stay hidden until you've answered.
- Answer with number keys; you can stop and resume.
- Your time per answer is recorded.
- **Time:** there's no measurement of you answering walkthrough questions yet, so the estimate comes from your pace in screening reviews (median 14–30 s per item).
- **The first two blocks:** about 20–40 minutes.
- **All 160:** about 40–80 minutes.
- **Re-estimated** from your first block's actual times.
- **On the case page, results look like:** "정확도 80% (16/20, 95% CI 58–92) · dev · 1인 라벨", with the share of questions Lense answered next to it.
**A change from the first plan:** the 20 clips that already had Lense outputs turned out to be 18 intersection clips, not KB-like. Track V picked 20 same-direction road clips instead, which need one Lense run first: **about $2–3 on a g6e.** I approved it: it's well under the $20 threshold, uses goldset clips only, and the auto-started GPU turns itself off when idle. It also gives Track C its first outputs from the newer answers version.

Track E (lense-e9), on the vehicle_kind proposal: I recommend not routing a CV class as Lense's answer. Details went to lense-b5.
- **Why:** the `vehicle_kind` contract is a legal classification with requires_reasoned_judgment true. Registration and specs are the evidence route, and dashcam footage is explicitly "보조 근거". Its choice rules forbid deciding from body shape or appearance, which is all a detector class is. There's also no vehicle-kind label anywhere to measure against.
- **Offered instead:** the counterpart's majority detector class, already in every stored vehicles.tracks output (no GPU, no new version), shown as supporting evidence with the adjuster answering.
- **If Ian or Track B want a visual answer** (e.g. two-wheeler vs car), that's a contract change first, then ~100 labelled clips to measure it.
- **Marks:** turn:ego is live. stop:ego is exploration only (n=18 stopped on dev). Counterpart stop and lane changes aren't built (they need lanes or depth). So no new CV marks from Track E this week.

02:41 · repliedTrack E (`lense-e9`) pushed back on my vehicle-type idea, and it's right.
**Why a detector class can't answer `vehicle_kind`:**
- **It's a legal classification.** Registration and specifications decide it, and the dashcam is explicitly only "보조 근거".
- **The question's own choice rules forbid deciding from body shape or appearance,** and appearance is exactly what a vehicle detector sees.
- **There's no vehicle-type label anywhere** to measure a CV answer against.
**What Track E offers instead:** the other vehicle's detected class, already in every stored vehicle-tracking output (no GPU, no new version), **shown as supporting evidence**, with the adjuster deciding. Lense's result for the question is then an abstention, "등록·제원 정보 필요", with the detector's class shown beside it. That fits both your rules: Lense answers or abstains with a reason, and nothing is decided from appearance.
**Event marks:** nothing new from Track E this week.
- **고객차's turn:** live.
- **Stopping:** exploratory only; there are just 18 stopped clips in dev.
- **The other car's stops and lane changes:** not built; they need lanes or depth estimation.
**What I've proposed to Track B, for after this week's readiness work:** split the concept the way we discussed for questions in general, into what's observable vs how the law reads it.
- **An observation question,** e.g. "상대차의 외형 분류" (이륜차 / 승용차형 / 승합·버스형 / 화물·대형 / 판단 불가), which Lense can answer from video with a measured confidence.
- **The legal `vehicle_kind` stays with the adjuster,** with the observation and registration as evidence.

1. **vehicle_kind 상대차 (320):** no CV route. Track E pushed back and I agree: the contract has requires_reasoned_judgment and choice rules that forbid appearance ("SUV·차체 모양…만으로 정하지 않는다"), and there are no labels. Instead, Track C shows the detector shape as evidence beside the adjuster's answer.
2. **vehicle_kind 고객차 (307):** already needs_evidence (등록원부/차량 조사), so keep it.
3. **sd_restart_stop_kind (188/129):** refused for reasoned judgment, not for a missing mark, so marks don't unlock it. Ian or Track B chooses: (a) keep it with the adjuster, or (b) split out an observable fact ("stopped and restarted in the span?").
4. **Change marks, the biggest lever:** a change:상대차 mark unlocks 325 top-5 appearances and change:고객차 211, over sd_change_target_relation, sd_path_change (change) and sd_order_before_change. Track E has no lane-change cue this week. | # | Question | Appearances | Decision |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 상대차's vehicle type | 320 | **Lense abstains** (a legal classification that can't be decided from appearance, and nothing to measure against). I asked Track C to show the detector's view as evidence beside it, e.g. "영상 외형 참고: 이륜차 (프레임 92%) · 법적 차종은 등록·제원으로 판단". |
| 2 | 고객차's vehicle type | 307 | Stays an **evidence request** (registration record or vehicle inspection). |
| 3 | Stop/restart kind | 188 / 129 | Refused because it needs judgment, not because a mark is missing. **Proposed to Track B** as a split: an observable fact ("did it stop and restart, and when?") that Lense answers, with the legal kind left to the adjuster. **Your decision later.** |
| 4 | **Lane-change moment** | **325 (상대차) + 211 (고객차)** | **The biggest lever.** Approved as a **new, not-yet-live version** (see below). |
**How the lane-change mark would work:** Lense uses its own answer to "did this vehicle change path" to mark when the change started, then answers the 6 questions tied to that moment.

- **Where it comes from:** the most frequent class the vehicle detector gave the other vehicle's track, counting only the frames where it was actually detected.
- **What's missing for now:** stored tracks keep only that most frequent class, not the breakdown, so there's no "92% of frames" figure yet. It appears when Track E next updates its tracking version.
**It says so honestly when there's nothing to show:** "없음 (현재 차량 분석에 연결된 상대차 추적 없음)". That happens when no other vehicle is resolved, or when the adjuster picked the vehicle under an older tracking version.

Track V → coordinator: the change marks are built unpromoted (b5000dd), with one design change you should know about.

On media 269 (차43-2) its own sd_passing_sequence reasoning says "first lateral movement at 5.47 s" while sd_path_change says no deviation.

A true answer places the mark, and the 24 change-bound bindings (12 questions × 2 vehicles) are asked over [mark, impact].

- **The approved plan would never have fired.** It took the mark from Lense's own "did this vehicle change path?" answer, but Qwen answered that question **"no" on 40 of 40 and 97 of 99** bindings. On a 차43-2 clip (case 2's video), the model's own reasoning for a different question says "first lateral movement at 5.47 s", while its answer to this one says no deviation.
- **So Track V added a dedicated internal question per vehicle:** "does it move sideways into another lane before the contact, and when does that start?", using the book's definition of when a change starts. A "yes" places the mark, and the 24 questions tied to the change (12 × 2 vehicles) are then asked between the mark and impact.
- **Honest on screen:** the mark is labelled as proposed by Lense, unmeasured, "confirm or move it". If Lense's older path-change answer disagrees with the mark, that answer becomes "uncertain".
- **Kept separate from what's live:** separate method IDs, so current cases are untouched. 5 new tests; 174 pass.
- **Job 306** runs it on the same 20 labeling clips right after job 301: about $0.50 if cached results carry over between jobs, $2.50 if not.
**The live risk:** the version currently live on cases (Lense answers 0.2.1) presents **"진로변경 없음" as a Lense fact** on lane-change cases, marked 정확도 미측정. An adjuster moving quickly can accept it, and the engine then routes away from 차43-2, the most common chart. That's a wrong chart in your dry run, and in front of KB.
**I asked Track V to prepare a guarded version** (answers 0.2.2):
- **When Lense abstains instead:** the model gives effectively the …
